Terms of Service

Welcome to LaunchStation (https://launchstation.dev). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our platform and services. By creating an account or using LaunchStation, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use LaunchStation. We may update these Terms from time to time, and continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

LaunchStation is an automated marketing collateral platform for software releases. When you publish a GitHub release, LaunchStation visits your deployed web application, records UI interactions, and generates a complete release package including demo videos, blog posts, social media copy, feature graphics, and release emails.

The service includes AI-generated scripts, text-to-speech narration, automated browser recording, image generation, and automated publishing to connected platforms.

You must be at least 16 years old to use LaunchStation.

You sign in to LaunchStation using GitHub OAuth. By connecting your GitHub account, you authorize us to access your GitHub profile information and repository metadata (release titles, descriptions, PRs, and changed files) as needed to generate marketing assets. You may optionally connect third-party platforms (such as X) to enable automated publishing.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your GitHub account and any API keys generated within LaunchStation. Notify us immediately at support@launchstation.dev if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

LaunchStation offers multiple subscription tiers with different release limits and features. Current plans and pricing are available on our pricing page.

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. LaunchStation does not store your credit card information - all payment processing is handled by Stripe.

Paid plans can opt in to overage charges for additional releases beyond the plan limit. Overage rates are listed on the pricing page. Overage charges are billed at the end of each billing cycle. Unused releases do not roll over.

We offer a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase or plan upgrade if you are not satisfied with the service. To request a refund, contact us at support@launchstation.dev. Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days via Stripe to your original payment method. After the 14-day window, we do not offer refunds for the current billing cycle.

Overage charges (extra releases beyond your plan limit) are non-refundable, as the assets have already been generated and delivered.

You may cancel your subscription at any time via the billing portal, accessible from your account settings. Upon cancellation, you retain access to your paid plan until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account reverts to the Free tier. Previously generated assets are not affected.

We may offer refunds or credits outside these terms at our discretion, for example if a service outage prevented asset generation. If you believe you have a special circumstance, contact us at support@launchstation.dev.

LaunchStation can be triggered via deployment integrations or API keys.

API keys are stored securely. You are responsible for keeping your API keys confidential. Do not share API keys or allow unauthorized access to your account.

We apply rate limits to prevent abuse. If you opt in to overages, exceeding your plan's release quota incurs additional charges as described in Section 4. Otherwise, asset generation is blocked when you reach your limit.

You agree not to use LaunchStation to:

• Generate content for websites or applications you do not own or have permission to record
• Generate or distribute obscene, harmful, illegal, or otherwise objectionable content
• Abuse, overload, or circumvent rate limits or usage quotas
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the platform
• Resell or redistribute the service without authorization
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Your content: You retain all rights to the marketing assets (videos, blog posts, images, and social copy) generated by LaunchStation. The assets are yours to use, share, and distribute as you see fit.

Our platform: LaunchStation, including its code, design, algorithms, and documentation, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our platform beyond using the service as intended.

License to process: By using LaunchStation, you grant us a limited license to access your deployed web applications and GitHub repository metadata solely for the purpose of generating marketing assets and hosting your blog on your behalf.

LaunchStation integrates with third-party services to provide its functionality. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms:

• GitHub - Authentication and repository metadata
• Stripe - Payment processing
• X - Social publishing
• Resend - Email delivery
• AI and machine learning providers for script generation, image generation, and text-to-speech
• Hosting and deployment infrastructure providers

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of third-party services.

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Asset generation and publishing depend on third-party services (AI models, text-to-speech, browser automation, social APIs) that may occasionally be unavailable.

Failed asset generations can be retried from your dashboard. We may perform maintenance, update features, or modify the service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for significant changes.

LaunchStation is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or that generated assets will meet your specific expectations.

AI-generated scripts, narration, images, and copy may contain inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing generated content before publishing or distributing it. If you enable auto-publish, content will be posted to connected platforms (blog, X) and sent via email automatically without prior review. By enabling auto-publish, you accept full responsibility for any content published on your behalf and acknowledge that LaunchStation is not liable for inaccuracies, errors, or unintended content in auto-published materials.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LaunchStation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or if required by law. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before termination unless prohibited by law or if your actions pose an immediate risk.

Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Generated assets will be available for download for 30 days following termination.

If you have a dispute regarding the service, you agree to first attempt to resolve it informally by contacting us at support@launchstation.dev. We will work with you in good faith to resolve the issue before either party pursues formal legal action.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice on the platform. Continued use of LaunchStation after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
